MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and
its amendments, and of the Public Works Act 1928, and
its amendments:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Manukau City Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts
to execute a certain public work, namely, flood protection
works on the Puhinui Stream at Plunket Avenue, Manukau
City; and for that public work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby
further given that a plan of the land so required to be
taken is deposited in the public offices of the Manukau
City Council at Hill Road, Manurewa, and is there open
for inspection, without fee, by all persons during the ordinary
office hours.
Every person affected by the execution of the said public
work or the taking of the said land is called upon to set
forth in writing any objections he may wish to make to the
execution of the said work or to the taking of the said
land, not being an objection as to the amount or payment
of compensation, and to send such written objection within
forty (40) days of the first publication of this notice to the
Manukau City Council, Private Bag, Manurewa.
If any such objection is made a public hearing of the
objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires
and each objector will be advised of the time and place
of the hearing. At the hearing of any objection the objector
shall be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land containing one rood and thirteen
decimal nine perches (1 r and 13.9 p), more or less, being
part Lot 3, Deposited Plan 57319, and being part Clendon's
Grant, and being part of the land in certificate of title
No. 11C/1475 (North Auckland Registry); as the same is
more particularly delineated on plan S.O. 47472 and thereon
coloured blue.

Notice Under Section 34 of the Said Act
NOTICE is hereby given that the Rangitikei Permanent Building
Society whose registered office is at Marton and The Midland
Building and Investment Society whose registered office is at
Marton, desire to transfer their respective engagements to the
Wanganui Permanent Building Society (in future to be called
The Wanganui Rangitikei Permanent Building Society) and
that the Wanganui Permanent Building Society desires to accept
a transfer of such engagements and that the said Rangitikei
Permanent Building Society and the said The Midland Building
and Investment Society have applied to the Registrar of
Building Societies to confirm the respective transfer, notwithstanding that the written concurrence of the holders of two-thirds of the whole number of shares in the said societies respectively has not been obtained in the manner required by the Building Societies Act 1965.
This application will be heard on the 24th day of September
1975. Any person wishing to be heard on such application
should apply by letter to the Registrar of Building Societies,
P.O. Box 1062, Wellington, at least 7 days before the date
of the hearing.
