Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XIII, Tauranga Survey District, Tauranga County, for a Limited Access Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for a limited access road the land described in the Schedule hereto such land to be used for the realignment of the existing road.
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tauranga and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton; and also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Mount Somers Mines Limited, having its registered office at Christchurch.
