WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken for the purposes of a pleasure ground and vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington by a Proclamation dated the 30th day of July 1952 and published in Gazette, 7 August 1952, Vol. II, at pp. 1310 and 1311.
Now therefore, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the said land is hereby set apart as from the 24th day of July 1975 for housing purposes.
