Appointm ent of Members of New Zealand Superannuation Appeal Authority
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 17th day of January
1974, pursuant to section 80 of the New Zealand Super-
annuation Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General
was pleased to appoint
Edward James Haughey
of Wellington, barrister (after consultation by the Minister
of Finance with the Minister of Justice), to be the Chairman
of the New Zealand Superannuation Appeal Authority, and
John Turnbull, and
Eric Booth Williams
both of Wellington, to be members of the New Zealand
Superannuation Appeal Authority.

Appointment of Members of the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute
PURSUANT to the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute
Act 1963*, His Excellency the Governor-General has been
pleased to appoint Mrs Mere Poutu, of Wellington, and Dr
Denis Rogers, O.B.E., M.B., CH.B., of Hamilton, to be members
of the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. These
appointments to expire on 30 November 1977.

Appointment of a Trustee to the Bay of Plenty Savings Bank
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 10th day of January 1975,
pursuant to section 8 of the Trustee Savings Bank Act 1948,
His Excellency the Governor-General was pleased to appoint
Christopher Evelyn Harry Stocker
as a trustee of the Bay of Plenty Savings Bank for the residue
of the term of office of Pakake Heketoro Leonard, who has
resigned.

Declaring Land Taken for the Purposes of Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, in the City of Wellington
PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a
sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
one undivided one-third share without right of partition in the
land described in the First Schedule hereto and the land
described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby taken for
the purposes of Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing
Improvement Act 1945, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors
and Citizens of the City of Wellington from and after the
30th day of January 1975.
