Notice Declaring a Quarantine Ground at Trentham (No. 1176 Ag. 70072)
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to section 11 of the Animals Act 1967, the land and premises of Wrightson N.M.A. Limited and Pyne Gould Guinness Limited Sale Grounds situated at the northern end of Racecourse Road, Trentham, comprising approximately two and a half acres and known as “J and K Block” is hereby declared to be a quarantine ground for the detention of imported horses from 1 July 1975 to 30 August 1975.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
It is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 18 June 1975 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway 2 (Pokeno to Wellington) from its intersection with the western boundary of Featherston Borough to the intersection of the projected north-east boundary of section 24, Pakuratahi District, near the summit of the Rimutaka Hill as more particularly shown on sheets of Plan LA 51/17/1 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Trentham, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1175 Ag. 61422)
PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:
(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found—
(1) An area of 8 acres 2 roods 26 perches, or thereabouts, situated west of and adjoining Marshlands Road, Christchurch, in Block VII of the Christchurch Survey District, and being Lots 12 and 13 on plan deposited in the Lands Registry Office as plan 875, part Rural Section 7670 and 7670X, C.T. 149/55 (Canterbury Registry).
(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the land described in paragraph (a) above being-
(1) An area of 19 acres 2 roods 29 perches, or thereabouts, situated east of and adjoining Marshlands Road, Christchurch, in Blocks VII and VIII of the Christchurch Survey District, being part of Rural Section 1604, and being more particularly described in conveyance registered No. 120877 (194/101). C.T. 396/167 (Canterbury Registry).
Revocation: This notice replaces notices No. 1054 dated 11 March 1975 and No. 1070 dated 19 March 1975.

Amendment to Declaration of Infected Area Under Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967—Pine Needle Blight (Dothistroma Pini)
THE following amendment to declaration made under regulation 7 of the Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967 is hereby published in accordance with regulation 6 of the said regulations.
THE FOREST DISEASE CONTROL REGULATIONS 1967 AMENDMENT TO DECLARATION OF “INFECTED AREA” IN RESPECT OF PINE NEEDLE BLIGHT (Dothistroma pini)
PURSUANT to the Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967, I, Malcolm James Conway, Director-General of Forests, Wellington, hereby amend the Declaration of Infected Area in respect of the forest disease pine needle blight (Dothistroma pini) that came into force on the 5th day of September 1967 as published in the Gazette of the 21st day of September 1967, and amended firstly by an amendment that came into force on the 23rd day of November 1967, as published in the Gazette of the 14th day of December 1967, secondly, by an amendment that came into force on the 5th day of March 1969, as published in the Gazette of the 27th day of March 1969, thirdly, by an amendment that came into force on the 24th day of December 1971 as published in the Gazette of the 13th day of April 1972, and fourthly, by an amendment that came into force on the 30th day of August 1973, as published in the Gazette of the 22nd day of November 1973, as follows:
Clause 2 (c) is hereby amended by revoking subparagraph (v).
NOTES
- This amendment comes into effect upon first publication in a newspaper circulating in the infected area constituted. Its purpose is to change the status of the Declared Infected Area in respect of Dothistroma pini in the Land District of Hawke's Bay (located to the east of the axial mountain ranges) such that it will be consistent with the status of other east coast districts of the North Island.
