Declaring an Interest in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VIII, Waoku Survey District, Hokianga County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto held from Her Majesty the Queen by Jack Ngakuru Rogers, of Punakitere, farmer, under and by virtue of deferred payment licence No. D.P. F. 433 (part register book 11D/1411, North Auckland Land Registry) is hereby taken for the purposes of a road from and after the 10th day of July 1975.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton; and also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Robert Alexander Burnett, of Ashburton, company director.
