CONFERENCE ON STATE AID TO PRIVATE SCHOOLS
A REPORT OF STEERING COMMITTEE—22–24 MAY 1974
The working party was required to investigate the possibility
of integration of the private school system.

This conference concludes a working party's report. After
discussions attempts were made to find a solution to state aid
to private schools.

A conclusive decision on the question of state aid by this
conference was to not recommend additional financial assistance.

Although the working party was unable to implement its
terms of reference, it feels that some definite progress has
been made.
