NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for variation of current approvals of the Minister of Customs as follows:

24337	33.04.029	REQUESTED APPROVAL: Mixtures of: (I) Synthetic odoriferous substances; or (II) Synthetic odoriferous substances with natural essential oils or resinoids; or (III) Natural essential oils and oleoresins: Whether or not containing fixatives or residual alcohol or residual solvents, when declared— (a) by a manufacturer for use by him as an ingredient in making approved products, or (b) by an importer that they will be sold by him only to a manufacturer for use as an ingredient in making approved products— Approved— Soaps Household cleansers Toilet preparations Perfumes

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of this application should do so in writing on or before 22 May 1975. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.
