Amending List of Closed Game Areas in the Hawke's Bay Acclimatisation District

THE Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the notice published in the supplement to the Gazette, No. 13, of 18 February 1975, at page 303, relating to closed game areas numbers 2, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 16, and 18 is amended as follows:

Delete:

No. (2) Te Awanga Lagoon.

No. (6) The property of Mrs K. Gaisford, “Oringi”, Dannevirke.

No. (8) The bush-covered area on the property of Mr C. L. Monckton, Ngahara, Ashley Clinton.

No. (9) The area occupied by the Hastings Golf Club, Bridge Pa.

No. (11) The property of the Napier Boys’ High School.

No. (12) Te Mata Park, Havelock North.

No. (16) The property of the Dannevirke Borough Council known as “The Dannevirke Domain”.

No. (18) The pond on the property of Mr C. E. K. Baines between the railway line and the Matamau-Makotuku Road, Dannevirke.

Notice of Intention to Assign a Place Name by the New Zealand Geographic Board

PURSUANT to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice is hereby given of the intention of the New Zealand Geographic Board to assign the name “Hamilton Railway Station” to the new main railway station for the City of Hamilton and situated at Frankton in the City of Hamilton, South Auckland Land District.

Pursuant to section 13 of the said Act, any person objecting to such assigned name may at any time within the period of 3 months from the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette, give to the Secretary of the Board, care of the Department of Lands and Survey, P.O. Box 8003, Government Buildings, Wellington, notice in writing of his objection setting out the grounds of the objection. If no objection is received by the Board within the aforesaid period of 3 months, the Board’s decision as to the assigned name will be final.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1975, No. 9.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
