NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PUBLIC RESERVE
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties Act 1956 and
amendments, to take for a public reserve the land described
in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used as a public
reserve. And notice is hereby further given that the plan
of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office
of the Waimairi County Council, corner of Jeffreys and Clyde
Roads, Christchurch, and is there open for inspection. That
all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land
should if they have any objection to the taking of the said
land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, make a written objection and send it within
40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town
and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. 12-244, Wellington
North. And that if any objection is made in accordance with
this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will
be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the Public Works
Act 1908, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and their
respective amendments, the Wellington City Corporation
proposes to take the land described in the Schedule hereto
for a public work, namely, for street purposes; and notice
is hereby further given that a plan of the land which is
required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the
Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Office
Building, 5 Mercer Street, Wellington, and is there open
for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours and that any person claiming to be affected by the
execution of the said public work or the taking of the
said land, not being an objection to amount or payment
of compensation, send his written objection within 40 days
from the first publication of this notice to the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board, 32 Mulgrave Street,
Wellington; and notice is hereby further given that if any
objection is made as aforesaid a public hearing of that
objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires
and each objector will be advised of the time and place
of that hearing and at that hearing each objector will be
advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

hereto. A plan of the portions of road proposed to be stopped
is open for public inspection at the office of the Council
