Pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953 for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order made by the Manaia Town Council on 11th day of March 1975 is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER
"That pursuant to the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and amendments, the Manaia Town Council hereby declares by way of special order that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereto are noxious weeds within the Town District of Manaia.

Barley Grass (Hordeum murinum).
Barberry (Berberis darwinii/vulgaris).
Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus/laciniatus).
Burdock (Arctium, any species).
Californian thistle, Canadian thistle or creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense).
Cape tulip (Homeria collina).
Common broom (Cytisus scoparius).
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare).
Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea).
Giant buttercup (Ranunculus acer).
Gorse (Ulex, any species).

Milk thistle or variegated thistle (Silybum marianum).
