IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER
of CENTRAL OTAGO BOTTLING COMPANY LIMITED a duly
incorporated company having its registered office at care
of O. C. Pierce & Co., 59 Tabert Street, Alexandra, and
carrying on business there as drink manufacturers and
merchants:
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court, was
on the 17th day of March 1975, presented to the said Court
by MAURI BROTHERS AND THOMSON (N.Z.) LIMITED a duly
incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland
and carrying on business there and elsewhere as general
manufacturers and merchants. And that the said petition
is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Dunedin
on the 2nd day of May 1975 at 10 o'clock in the forenoon;
and any creditor or contributory of the said company
desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on
the said petition may appear at the time of hearing or
by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition
will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or
contributory of the said company requiring a copy on
payment of the regulated charge for the same.

of the firm, and an address for service within 3 miles
of the office of the Supreme Court at Dunedin, and must
be signed by the person or firm, his or their solicitor (if
any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by
post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner's
address for service not later than 4 o'clock in the afternoon
of the 1st day of May 1975.

AWATERE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the
Seddon sewerage reticulation special rating area taken on 26
March 1975 on the proposal of the Awatere County Council
to raise a loan of $110,000 to be known as the Seddon
Sewerage Reticulation Loan for the purpose of providing
sewerage reticulation and disposal in Seddon resulted as
follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 82
The number of votes recorded against the proposal
was 30
I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF REVOCATION OF PURPOSE OF LAND SET ASIDE IN
CONNECTION WITH STREET
Holborn Subdivision—Stage 2—Area 1 (Stokes Valley)
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council
at a meeting held on Monday, 24 March 1975, resolved,
pursuant to the provisions of section 191 (2) of the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954, to declare the area of land below
described to be surplus to Council’s requirements for the
purpose for which it was set aside, i.e., “in connection with
street”:
“All that parcel of land containing 1 rood and 19.18 perches,
more or less, situate in the City of Lower Hutt, being parts
Section 68, Hutt District, and being also Lots 4, 6, 8, and
9, on Deposited Plan 25157, contained in certificate of title
D2/165”.
The proposed revocation is to permit of resubdivision and
part disposal of the land for housing purposes.
It was further resolved that the requisite public notice
should be given pursuant to the requirements of the Public
Works Amendment Act 1952, and any person or persons
affected who may wish to object to the proposed revocation
should set forth in writing their objection and forward same
to the Lower Hutt City Council, Private Bag, Lower Hutt,
within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this
notice.
