Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1975, No. 1.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Licensing Howard George Hart to Occupy a Site for a Wharf in the Kaipara River at Helensville

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Howard George Hart (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of the Kaipara River at Helensville as shown on plan marked M.D.(N) 9 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Auckland, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 5 years from the 1st day of January 1975.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be one hundred dollars ($100); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Revoking the Foreshore Licence Authorising Fletcher Timber Co. to Occupy a Boat Ramp in the Waikato River at Taupo

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that the licence of 30 November 1972*, authorising Fletcher Timber Co. to occupy a site for a boat ramp in the Waikato River at Taupo, is hereby revoked.

Licensing the Wellington City Corporation to Occupy a Site for a Boat Launching Ramp at Maranui, Lyall Bay

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit the Wellington City Corporation (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Maranui, Lyall Bay, as shown on plan marked M.D. 12688 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat launching ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule nereto. The licence of 20 September 1967*, authorising the Wellington Trailer Boat Association Incorporated to occupy a site for a boat launching ramp is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(2) The term of the licence shall be 7 years from the 1st day of October 1974.
(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten cents (10c) payable on demand; provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

The Motor Launch (Whangamata) Notice 1975, Thames County Council

Pursuant to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give the following notice:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Whangamata) Notice 1975.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.
  2. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, the area described in the First Schedule hereto shall be exempted from regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water adjoining the County of Thames at Whangamata bounded on the sides by parallel lines 155 yards apart extending in a north by west direction 200 yards from the edge of the water; the eastern boundary being in line with the western boundary of section 10 as shown on Deposited Plan 30953, Block XVI, Tairua Survey District, and the western boundary being in line with the western boundary of Section 4 as shown on Deposited Plan 30953 and more particularly defined on plan marked M.D. 15462.

SECOND SCHEDULE

  1. Two 8 ft transit posts with a distance of not less than 10 ft or more than 12 ft between, and painted with 12 in. bright orange and black bands shall be erected on land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being on high water mark.
  2. On each of the transit posts sited on high water mark there shall be fastened in line with the sides of the access lane a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form.

"NOTICE
MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962
Access lane through which motor launches and water skiers may travel at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.
BATHERS KEEP OUT"
