Tariff Notice No. 1975/19—Application for Variation of Approval
NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for variation of a current approval of the Minister of Customs as follows:

(e) Flanged, cast iron to B.S. 3464, with indicators, sizes 76.2 mm (3 in.), 101.6 mm (4 in.), and 152.4 mm (6 in.) (20) Check valves: (a) Wafer type, all materials: sizes 50.8 mm (2 in.) to 91.44 cm (36 in.) ASA 150 or B.S. equivalent; sizes 50.8 mm (2 in.) to 35.56 cm (14 in.) ASA 300 or B.S. equivalent; sizes 50.8 mm (2 in.) to 25.40 cm (10 in.) ASA 600 or B.S. equivalent; sizes 50.8 mm (2 in.) to 20.32 cm (8 in.) Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of this application should do so in writing on or before 20 March 1975. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:
(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.
