Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 3) 1975

PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 3) 1975.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

  3. The exemptions from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, are hereby withdrawn.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
Notice Declaring Land to be Infected Areas Under Potato
Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1023 Ag. 61422)

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the First Schedule hereto,
is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation, for the purpose
of a burial ground for the common use or benefit of the
owners thereof and their descendants; and the Maori freehold
land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation, for the purpose of a place
of historical interest, for the common use or benefit of the
owners thereof and their descendants.

FIRST SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Block III, Paritutu Survey
District, and described as follows:
Area A. R. P.
1 0 0 The north-western portion of Waitara West 52D
Block, more commonly known as "Ngahuinga"
created by a freehold order of the Maori Land
Court dated 22 May 1919 and delineated on
survey plan ML. 903.

SECOND SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Block III Paritutu Survey
District and described as follows:
Area A. R. P.
1 0 0 The south-eastern portion of Waitara West 52D
Block, more commonly known as "Pukemarohia"
created by a freehold order of the Maori Land
Court dated 22 May 1919 and delineated on
survey plan ML. 903.

Pursuant to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode
Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following
lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been
found—an area of 12 acres 3 roods 23.5 perches,
or thereabouts, situated north-east of and adjoining
Cranford Street, Christchurch, in Block VII, Christ-
church Survey District, being Lot 17, Deposited Plan
18965, part Rural Section 1048, C.T. 11B/1199
(Canterbury Registry).

(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the
land described in paragraph (a) above being--
(i) An area of 19 acres 1 rood 6 perches, or thereabouts,
situated north-east of and adjoining (a) above in
the City of Christchurch, being Lot 27, D.P. 17857,
Pt. Rural Sect. 1048, C.T. 7D/623 (Canterbury
Registry).
(ii) An area of 7 acres 3 roods 20 perches, or thereabouts,
situated north-east of and adjoining (i) above in
Block VII, Christchurch Survey District, being Lot 2
on plan deposited in the Land Registry Office in
Christchurch as No. 8381, part Rural Section 1048
(Canterbury Registry).

Dated at Wellington this 19th day of February 1975.
