Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as street the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, which land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the City of Hamilton; and also hereby pro-
claims that the street described in the Second Schedule hereto
is hereby closed, and shall, when so closed, vest in George

Amending a Notice Proclaiming Land as Road, Road Closed
and Vested, and Road Closed and Incorporated in an
Adjoining Crown Lease in Block VIII, Tahoraiti Survey
District

Pursuant to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice
dated the 7th day of July 1975, published in Gazette, 31
July 1975, No. 63, at page 1668, proclaiming land as road,
road closed and vested, and road closed and incorporated in
an adjoining Crown lease in Block VIII, Tahoraiti Survey
District, pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amend-
ment Act 1948, by omitting the reference to mortgage No.
“234155” and substituting reference to mortgage No. “234156”,
and by omitting from the Second Schedule thereto, the follow-
ing:

“0 0 9.3 Section 5, Block VIII, Tahoraiti Survey District;
coloured green on plan.”

and substituting the following:

“0 0 9.3 Section 25, Block VIII, Tahoraiti Survey District;
(253 m²) coloured green on plan.”

the Borough of Whakatane

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that,
a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered
into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for street, and the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for a service lane and shall vest
in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of
Whakatane, from and after the 18th day of December 1975.
