PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitotara; and also hereby proclaims that the road first described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Amelia Emily Backhouse, of Wanganui, married woman, and William Kennedy Shearer Backhouse, of Wanganui, company director, as tenants-in-common in equal shares, subject to memorandum of mortgage A. 006513; and that the road secondly, thirdly, and fourthly described in the said Second Schedule is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Alexander Lester Eric Garrett, of Wanganui, company manager, and Juliet Beth Garrett, his wife.
