PURSUANT to section 45 of the Government Railways Act
1949 and section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agree-
ment to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for S.I.M.T. Railway
on and after the 8th day of December 1975.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IV, Mata Survey
District, Waiapu County, for Maori Housing Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for Maori housing
purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land
to be used to subdivide into two sections for Maori housing:
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at
Ruatoria and is there open for inspection; that all persons
directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they
have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a
written objection and send it within 40 days after the first
publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning
Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is
made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the
objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires,
and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the
hearing.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 06.5 perches
situated in Block IV, Mata Survey District, being Section 8,
Town of Ruatoria Extension No. 3. All certificate of title, No.
100/174, Gisborne Land Registry. As shown on plan S.O.
3691 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne
and thereon edged red.

The land is situated in Mangakino-Waiomatatini Road in
Ruatoria, and is a residential section containing an old
dwelling.

Huntly

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a
sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken,
subject as to Lot 8, D.P. 29636 to the mining easements
created by transfers 100061 and 287945, South Auckland Land
Registry, for purposes incidental to coal mining operations,
under Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925, from and after
the 4th day of December 1975.
