Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work (Thames Valley and Rotorua Railway) at Tirau and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 1st day of December 1975.

Declaring Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in the City of Wellington

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with and/or subject to the rights and encumbrances described in the Second Schedule hereto for State housing purposes, and also hereby declares that the land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with and/or subject to the rights and encumbrances described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, for State housing purposes from and after the 27th day of November 1975.

FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 25.84 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, being part Section 2, Kaiwharawhara District, and being also Lot 18, D.P. 21983. All certificate of title No. 6B/1, Wellington Land Registry.

SECOND SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

  1. Together with rights of way over the part Lots 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, and 22, shown coloured variously yellow and blue on the said D.P. 21983, created respectively by transfers 499689, 583002, 657233, 747869, 485158, 739289, and 570653.

  2. Subject as to the part shown coloured yellow on the said D.P. 21983 to rights of way appurtenant to Lots 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23, D.P. 21983, created respectively by the transfers hereinbefore mentioned, and by transfer 734321.

  3. Subject to No. 469643 conditions of consent of the Wellington City Council to the creation of the above described rights of way.

  4. Subject to the fencing covenant contained in transfer 751159.

Revocation of Appointment of Honorary Social Workers Under the Department of Social Welfare Act 1971

Pursuant to section 9 of the Department of Social Welfare Act 1971, the Director-General of Social Welfare hereby revokes the appointment of Edmonds, Miss Judith Irene, Wellington; Stace, Mrs Christine Susan, Wellington; Brooks, Miss Kaye, Wellington; Rosenberg, Miss Vera Catherine Elsa, Wellington; Smith, Miss Rosalie Mary, Wellington; and Campbell, Mr Neil Sefton, Wellington,

as honorary social workers for the purposes of the said Act.
