CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
THE Door of Hope Association Incorporated has applied to
the Supreme Court at Auckland for approval of a scheme
under the above statute. The scheme submitted to the
Court proposes the appointment of the Salvation Army
Property New Zealand Trust Board as a new trustee, in lieu
of the above association, of a special fund at present held by
the above association in pursuance of certain trusts set forth
in accordance with the decision of the case in re The Door
of Hope, the St. Mary's Womens Home and the Salvation
Army 1907, Volume 26, N.Z.L.R. p. 96, as varied in part in
a scheme earlier submitted to the Supreme Court by the
association and approved on the 11th day of December 1959.
Such scheme simply appoints a new trustee and does not alter
the trusts applicable to the special fund.
The motion for approval of the scheme is for hearing in
the Supreme Court at 10 a.m. on Friday the 12th day of
December 1975. Any person desiring to oppose this scheme
is required to give written notice of his intention to do so
to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Auckland and to
The Door of Hope Association Incorporated and to the
Attorney-General, not less than 7 clear days before that date.
The solicitors to The Door of Hope Association Incorporated
are Messrs Glaistre, Ennor & Kiff, Norfolk House, High
Street, Auckland 1. A copy of the scheme may be inspected
at their office.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
of each week. Notices from Government departments must
be received by the Gazette Clerk, Department of Internal
Affairs, by noon on Tuesdays. Advertisements will be accepted
by the Government Printer until noon on Wednesdays.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing),
subscription $20 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual Volume (including index) bound in buckram,
price on application. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)

CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
NOTICE OF APPROVAL OF SCHEME
Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 54 of the Charitable
Trusts Act 1957, that the Supreme Court at Dunedin approved
the following scheme on the 10th day of October 1975:
The amalgamation of the two trusts known as the Sargood
Trust (created by the late Sir Percy Sargood on the 19th day
of December 1939) and of the Sargood Bequest (created by
the will of the late Sir Percy Sargood). The scheme does
not change the charitable objects for which the trusts were
established but provides for the amalgamation of the two trusts
and the appointment of investment trustees. It contains a
