Approval of Qualified Persons for the Purposes of Section 402
of the Companies Act 1955
Pursuant to section 402 of the Companies Act 1955, I hereby
approve
Norman Parke Craig, and
Robert Allan Lamond
partners in the firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.,
Chartered Accountants, Tower Building, Australia Square,
Sydney, Australia 2000, and members of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants, in Australia, to be qualified persons
for the purposes of that section in respect of the accounts of
Singer Sewing Machine Co.

Appointment of Honorary Launch Warden
Pursuant to sections 7 and 265A of the Harbours Act 1950,

to be an honorary launch warden for purposes of the Motor
Launch Regulations 1962.

Appointment of Supervising Officer and Honorary Launch
Warden
Pursuant to sections 7 and 265A of the Harbours Act 1950,
I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in
exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport
hereby appoint
Euan Robert William Bidwill
to be supervising officer for the area of water of the Ruamahanga River extending from the Onoke stopbank upstream
to the Tuhitarata Bridge for purposes of the Harbours Act
1950, and
Gordon Stuart McLeod, jun.
to be an honorary launch warden for purposes of the Motor
Launch Regulations 1962. The appointments* of
Euan Robert William Bidwell
as supervising officer and
Gordon Stuart McLean, jun.
as honorary launch warden are hereby revoked.

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a
sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the
land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a
pleasure ground and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the City of Waitemata from and after the 20th day
of November 1975.
