Stipendiary Magistrate Appointed

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1947 and section 27 of the Child Welfare Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Derek Lowe, Esquire of Wanganui, barrister and solicitor, to be a Stipendiary Magistrate, to exercise criminal and civil jurisdiction in New Zealand and to exercise jurisdiction in the Children's Court established at Rotorua.
