NOTICE OF INTENTION BY OVERSEAS COMPANY TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND

I. H. C. Holland (Australia) Pty. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Sydney, Australia, and having a place of business in New Zealand at Auckland, hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, of its intention to cease having a place of business in New Zealand.

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH PROPERTY AMENDMENT BILL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BRING IN PRIVATE BILL

THE Presbyterian Church Property Trustees give notice of their intention to apply for leave to bring in to the House of Representatives the above-mentioned Bill.

The objects of the Bill are to extend the powers of investment of the trustees; to empower the trustees to credit different rates of interest to different trusts or classes of trusts represented in the Amalgamated Investment Fund, having regard to the nature and periods of those trusts; to empower trustees or other persons holding funds on trust for the use or purposes of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand or any congregation or organisation connected with it, or of that church or congregation or organisation and other bodies jointly, to transfer such funds to the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees to be held by them as trustees thereof; to empower the trustees to lend or lease to themselves as trustees in a different capacity; to empower the trustees to act jointly with other persons or bodies in the exercise of their powers to lend money on mortgage, or in the doing of other things for the benefit of trusts administered by them; to extend the borrowing powers of the trustees; to empower the trustees to approve schemes for the alternative application of certain funds held for special objects or purposes connected with or relating to any congregation of the Presbyterian Church, if it is impossible or impracticable or inexpedient to carry out those objects or purposes; to declare that the trustees are not a moneylender within the meaning of the Moneylenders Act 1908; and to provide that the costs, charges, disbursements, and expenses of and incidental to the preparation, obtaining, and passing of the Bill shall be paid from the Investment Fund Income Account established under section 3 (6) of the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees Empowering Act 1957.

The promoters of the Bill are the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees.

Single copies available as issued.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon. The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription $12 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual Volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
