Licensing the Waipa County Council to Occupy a Site for
a Jetty and Boat Ramp at Bulmer's Landing, Lake Arapuni

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit the Waipa County Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Arapuni as shown on plan marked M.D. 15337 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty and boat ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of September 1974.

(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten cents (10c) payable on demand; provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

Pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby approve the Rotorua County Council Lake Waters Control Bylaw No. 16, 1971, Amendment No. 3, 1974, as adopted at a special meeting of the Rotorua County Council held on 23 April 1974, and confirmed by the council on 28 May 1974.

Licensing Bruce John Parr to Occupy a Site for a Slipway at Putiki on the Wanganui River

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Bruce John Parr (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Wanganui River at Putiki as shown on plan marked M.D. 11668 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

The Licence of 24 February 1964*, authorising Thomas William Halkett to occupy a site for a slipway at Putiki on the Wanganui River is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 4 years from the 1st day of March 1974.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be two dollars ($2) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be forty dollars ($40); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Licensing William Edward Johnson, Trading as Medora Fisheries, to Occupy a Site for a Landing Jetty, Freezer, and Shed in Blanket Bay, Doubtful Sound

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit William Edward Johnson, trading as Medora Fisheries (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Blanket Bay in Doubtful Sound as shown on plans marked M.D. 13777 and M.D. 15340 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a landing jetty, freezer, and shed as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 18 months from the 1st day of January 1973.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be six dollars ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be sixteen dollars ($16); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

(4) The licensee shall at all times during the continuance of the licence maintain the structures in good order and repair.

(5) In accordance with regulation 13 of the Regulations this licence may be revoked by the Minister without liability for compensation after at least 3 calendar months' previous notice in writing or at any time, if the licensee commits a breach of these conditions.

(6) In accordance with regulation 14 of the Regulations all structures are to be removed and the foreshore restored to its original condition within 1 month of the expiry of this licence, unless it is renewed, or within 1 month of the date of revocation of the licence.

(7) This licence is granted only in respect of the site for the aforementioned structures and does not confer any rights of access or usage of land above high water ordinary spring tides, such land being Crown land under the control of the Fiordland National Park Board.
