Declaring Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and to be Crown Land in Block IX, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby (a) declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes from and after the 29th day of August 1974; and (b) further declares the land described in the said Schedule to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 29th day of August 1974.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 27) 1974

PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:
(a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 27) 1974.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Goods of the class specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
3. The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the class set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, are hereby withdrawn.

Declaration That the Balcairn Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Vesting in the Ashley County Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Balcairn Domain described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act and further, pursuant to the said Act, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashley in trust for recreation purposes.
