the Fleming River in line with the production of the south-
eastern boundary of the said part Section 39; thence generally
south-westerly down the middle of the Fleming River to its
confluence with the Tautuku River; thence generally south-
easterly down the middle of that river to a point in line with
the production of the north-western side of the road forming
the south-eastern boundary of Section 1B, Block IX, Tautuku
Survey District; thence south-westerly to and generally south-
westerly along the said north-western side of that road and
its production to the mean high-water mark of the sea; thence
generally westerly along that high-water mark crossing the
Waipati River, the Waikawa River and the Haldane Estuary
to the Toetoes Harbour, being also the mouth of the Mataura
River; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along
the southern boundary of Toetoes Harbour to the right bank
of the Mataura River; thence northerly generally along that
right bank to a point in line with the southern boundary
of the Town of Mataura Bridge; thence easterly and northerly
along the southern and eastern boundary of the Town of
Mataura Bridge and the production of the last-mentioned
boundary to the point of commencement.

DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
PURSUANT to the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967,
I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby appoint
Daniel Palmer O'Connor,
of Kurow, farmer, to represent recreational interests in natural
water, to be a member of the Water Resources Council from
and after the 15th day of July 1974.
