PURSUANT to section 132 (3) of the Mining Act 1971, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.

RESIDENT site licence No. 12027, all certificate of title, Volume 1D, folio 536, limited as to parcels, Crown land situated at Marshvale in Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District, as located on S.O. Plan 10575, is hereby surrendered.

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3(1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, together with the appurtenant right of way defined in the Partition Order referred to in the said Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a marae and meeting house for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati Pareraukawa hapu of the Ngati Raukawa tribe.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
