Thirdly, that the boundaries of the said six ridings be as
shown on a series of six maps endorsed "Waikouaiti County
Riding Boundaries 1974" No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5,
and No. 6.

Fourthly, that the alteration hereby made take effect on
the day of the general election of councillors to be held
during the month of October 1974.

I further certify that the following Schedules set out the
descriptions, supplied by the Chief Surveyor, of the six riding
boundaries referred to in the foregoing Special Order, and
shown on the maps endorsed "Waikouaiti County Riding

HAWKS BURY RIDING

ALL the area in the Otago Land District, Waikouaiti County,
bounded by a line commencing at Trig. "D" Hummock,
Block V, Hummock Survey District, and proceeding north-
westerly along a right line between Trig. "D" Hummock,
and the southernmost corner of Run 714, Block II, Strath
Taieri Survey District, to its intersection with the eastern
boundary of Block VII, Strath Taieri Survey District; thence
generally northerly along the eastern boundary of the said
Block VII, to the westernmost corner of Section 19, Block VI,
Budle Survey District; thence generally easterly along the
generally northern boundaries of Sections 19, 18, and 22,
Block VI, aforesaid, to the north-western side of Nenthorn
