Land Taken for the Waharoa-Apata (Kaimai Deviation)
Railway and Road Diversion in Connection Therewith in
Block X, Wairere Survey District, Matamata County

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward
Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Waharoa-Apata
(Kaimai Deviation) railway and the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road diversion in
connection therewith.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block X, Wairere Survey
District, described as follows:
A. R. P. Being
0 0 27 Part old bed Waihou River.
0 0 4 Part bed Waihou River.
As shown on plan M.O.W. 27874 (S.O. 47071) deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at
Wellington and thereon coloured sepia.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block X, Wairere Survey
District, described as follows:
A. R. P. Being
0 2 32.6 Parts Lot 1, D.P. 23293.
0 0 18.3
As shown on plan M.O.W. 27874 (S.O. 47071) deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at
Wellington and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 12th day of July 1974.

Proclaiming the Borough of Waitemata to be a City
DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 6 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby proclaim the Borough of Waitemata
to be a city as on and from the 1st day of August 1974.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 23rd day of July 1974.

Constitution of the Ellesmere-Malvern Hydatids Control
District (No. 796 Ag. 21171)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 15th day of
July 1974
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Ellesmere-Malvern
    Hydatids Control District Order 1974.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after
    the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The areas comprising the Counties of Ellesmere and
    Malvern as from time to time constituted are hereby declared
    to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called
    the Ellesmere-Malvern Hydatids Control District.
  3. The Ellesmere-Malvern Hydatids Control Committee is
    hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for the
    Ellesmere-Malvern Hydatids Control District.
