PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that,
a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the undivided one-half share in the land described in the
Schedule hereto held by Richard Hooker and Leo Edwin
Aspell, of Wellington, company directors, and comprised in
certificate of title, Volume 474, folio 131, Wellington Land
Registry, is hereby taken subject to lease No. 989192 and
together with the leasehold estate of R. Hooker Developments
Limited, held under and by virtue of lease No. 989191 and
recorded in certificate of title No. 11C/263, Wellington Land
Registry, for a ministerial residence from and after the

Declaring Land Taken in the Borough of Petone for the
Purposes of the Proper Development or Use of the Land
Pursuant to Section 47 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1953

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that,
a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
the purposes of the proper development or use of the land,
pursuant to section 47 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1953, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the Borough of Petone as from the 31st day of
