A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward
Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in
the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of
Mount Albert, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and
I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 31st day of January 1974.

State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 63A (1) (a) of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set
apart the State forest land described in the First Schedule hereto and further described in the Second Schedule hereto as a State
forest park, to be known as the Kaweka State Forest Park.
FIRST SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY—HAWKE'S BAY AND RANGITIKEI COUNTIES
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Counties of Hawke's Bay and Rangitikei, containing 150,310 acres, more or less, commencing
in Block IV, Kaweka Survey District, at the junction of the north-western boundary of Tapapa No. 1 and 2 Blocks and the left bank of the
Ngaruroro River and proceeding north-easterly generally along that north-western boundary to the most northerly point of Tapapa No. 1
and 2 Blocks; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid blocks to and easterly along the northern boundary of
State Forest No. 21 to the right bank of the Mohaka River; thence south-easterly generally along that bank to the western boundary of
Section 1, Block V, Pohue Survey District; thence southerly, north-easterly, and northerly along the western, south-eastern, and eastern
boundaries of the aforesaid section, to and along the right bank of the Mohaka River, to and westerly generally along the left bank of the
Mangatutunui Stream to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Pastoral Run 11; thence southerly to and along that boundary and
its production to the right bank of the Makahu Stream; thence easterly generally along the right bank of the Makahu Stream to and
southerly generally along the left bank of the Anawhenua Stream to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 12243, the eastern
boundary of Pastoral Run 11, the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 3282, the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 2 and 1, Block I,
Patoka Survey District, to the left bank of Gorge Stream; thence westerly along that left bank to a point in line with the eastern boundary of
Block 130, Patoka C.G.D.; thence southerly to and along that boundary to Trig Taipo, and southerly generally along the eastern boundary
of Blocks 88 and 77, Patoka C.G.D., to the southern boundary of Block 77; thence westerly along that boundary to the left bank of Waterfalls
Stream; thence north-westerly along that bank to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4190; thence westerly generally
along the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4190, to the left bank of the Tutaekuri River; thence south-westerly generally along that left bank
to the north-western boundary of part Block 130, Patoka C.G.D., and along that boundary to the northern boundary of part Block 34,
Patoka C.G.D.; thence easterly generally along the northern boundaries of part Block 34, Patoka C.G.D., part Lot 2, D.P. 3283, part
Block 34, aforesaid, Section 2, Block IX, Patoka Survey District, Block 129, Patoka C.G.D., Section 3, Block IX, Patoka Survey District,
and part Block 79, Patoka C.G.D., to the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12322; thence westerly generally along the northern and north-
western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 12322, the northern boundaries of Sections 4 and 5, Block IX, Patoka Survey District, to the eastern side
of Willowford Road, along a right line to and along the northern boundary of Section 6, Block IX, Patoka Survey District, to the eastern
side of Willowford Road, along a right line to and along the northern, western, and southern boundaries of the said Section 6 to the left
bank of the Otakarara Stream; thence easterly along that bank to the western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 12197; thence southerly generally
along that boundary, the western side of Willowford Road, and the northern and western boundaries of part Lot 2, D.P. 8601, to the
northern side of the Taihape-Napier Road; thence westerly generally along the northern side of that road to a point due north of the
north-eastern corner of Section 4, Block XIV, Kuripapango Survey District; thence due south by right line to and southerly and westerly
generally along the eastern and southern boundaries of the aforesaid Section 4, to and along the southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 10752,
to the north-eastern boundary of part Section 1, Block III, Ngaruroro Survey District; thence north-westerly, south-westerly, and south-
easterly generally along the north-eastern, north-western, and south-western boundaries of that section to and south-easterly and easterly
generally along the south-western and southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 11682, to the southern boundary of Section 4, Block III,
Ngaruroro Survey District; thence easterly along that southern boundary and the southern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 11682, and its
production, to the western boundary of Section 1, Block IV, Ngaruroro Survey District; thence southerly generally along the western and
southern boundaries of that section and the western boundaries of Lot 1 and part Lot 2, D.P. 2645, to the left bank of the Ngaruroro River;
thence north-westerly generally along that bank to a point due east of the junction of the right bank of the Ngaruroro River with the left
bank of the Taruarau River; thence westerly generally along a right line to and along the left bank of the Taruarau River to the eastern
boundary of Section 7, Block XI, Kuripapango Survey District; thence northerly to and along that boundary to Te Whata Trig; thence north-easterly along the north-western
boundary of Block VIII, Kuripapango Survey District, to the right bank of the Ngaruroro River; thence south-westerly generally along that
bank to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Kohurau 2A; thence south-easterly and north-easterly to and along the south-
western and south-eastern boundaries of Kohurau 2A to the eastern corner of that block; thence easterly along the northern boundary of
part Kohurau 2B to the western side of the Napier-Taihape Road, along a right line to and along the northern boundaries of part Kohurau
2B and 2D to the western boundary of the land shown on D.P. 3119; thence northerly and westerly along that boundary and the western and
