Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the descendants and relatives of Rameka Keremeneta Peia, Nareta Keremeneta Peia, and Pare Nareta.

ALL that piece of land situated in the Borough of Kaikohe and described as follows:

Being

0 3 24 The land known as Marino No. 2A as created by a Partition Order of the Maori Land Court dated 14 June 1912.

4 0 00 Being the land known as Motutawa 4 as described in an Amalgamation Order of the Maori Land Court dated 15 March 1974, and shown on Plan 2068A which is held by the Registrar of the Maori Land Court at Rotorua.

Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1974, No. 2.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked being replaced, to the extent necessary, by notices issued contemporaneously with this notice as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to sections 330 and 331 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1974, No. 3.

  2. The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
