COUNTY OF WAITEMATA
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council,
pursuant to the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
proposes to execute a certain public work, namely the recon-
struction and widening of Lincoln Road and for this public
work the land in the Schedule hereto is required to be
taken. A plan of the land so required is deposited in the
Council Offices at 68–70 Greys Avenue, Auckland 1, and
at the District Office, Te Atatu, where it is open for inspec-
tion during ordinary office hours. Every person directly
affected shall set forth in writing any objection he may
wish to make to the taking of the said land not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation and
shall send the written objection within 40 days after the
first publication of this notice to the Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board. If any objection is made in accord-
ance with this notice a public hearing of the objection
will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 618 m² being Part Allot-
ment 6, Waipareira Parish, as shown marked “A” on S.O.
Plan 48853 and being part of the land comprised and described
in certificate of title, Volume 527, folio 288.
The above land is situated in Lincoln Road opposite its
junction with Triangle Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928 and its amendments to take for public street the land
described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used
for street extension pursuant to the provisions of section 191
of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954. All persons directly
affected by the taking of the said land, should if they
have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being
an objection to the amount or payment of compensation,
make a written objection and send it within 40 days from
the 7th day of June 1974 being the date of the first publica-
tion of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board, P.O. Box 12-244, at Wellington North, and that,
if any objection is made in accordance with this notice,

PURSUANT to section 13 (2) of the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the rate-
payers of the Borough of Waimate taken on Saturday the
18th day of May 1974, on the proposal of the above-named
local authority to raise a loan of $12,000 to be known as
the Rest Rooms Loan 1973, for the purpose of providing
a new rest centre between the council chambers and clock
tower, resulted as follows:

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
