Lieutenant James Stewart Ashton ceases attachment to the New Zealand Cadet Forces with effect from 31 January 1974.

Captain Allan Albert Findlay ceases attachment to the New Zealand Cadet Forces with effect from 31 March 1974. The appointment of Captain Jeffrey Joseph Steel is terminated with effect from 31 April 1974.

Transfer to Supernumerary List

Coroner Appointed

Appointment of Maori Wardens Under the Maori Welfare Act 1962

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 7 of the Maori Welfare Act 1962, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby appoints the persons respectively named in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Maori Wardens for the areas of the Maori Associations respectively specified in the second column of such Schedule opposite the name of each such person.

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a State primary school such land to be used for additional playing area for the Ponsonby Intermediate School; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Ponsonby and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and
