The rights, powers, and privileges conferred by this Order in Council shall not apply to those portions of the foreshore required for securing the shore ends of any telegraph cables that are at present or may be at any time laid down within the foreshore described in the First Schedule to this order.

The Board may enclose part or parts of the foreshore described in the First Schedule to this order for the purpose of holding athletic sports or games and may, by bylaws, fix a charge for admission to such enclosed part or parts: Provided that the total number of days on which such enclosures are made shall not exceed six in any one year.

Nothing herein contained shall authorise the Board to remove or cause to be removed any stone, sand, shingle, or shells, without the consent of the Minister being first obtained.

The Board shall not erect or grant a licence or permit for the erection or continuance of any structures on foreshore adjoining land under the control of a national park board or scenic board or domain board except with the consent of such board.

The Board shall prevent any nuisance being caused and shall not permit fish or fish offal to remain on or about the foreshore.

The rights, powers, and privileges may be at any time resumed by the Governor-General, without payment or any compensation whatever, on giving to the Board 6 calendar months’ notice in writing.
Any such notice shall be sufficient if given by the Minister and delivered at or posted to the last known address of the Board in New Zealand.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
O R D E R

This order may be cited as the Union of Tokoroa, Taupo, Ngakuru, Kaharoa and Reporoa Pest Destruction Districts Order 1974.

The boundaries of the Tokoroa Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 29th day of July 1959*), the Taupo Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 9th day of March 1970†), the Ngakuru Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 26th day of July 1950‡), the Kaharoa Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 19th day of April 1950§) and the Reporoa Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 21st day of January 1941¶), are hereby declared united to form one district to be called the Rotorua-Taupo Pest Destruction District, the boundaries of which shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

The basis on which the Board for the said District shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the land occupied by the ratepayer.

BOUNDARIES OF ROTORUA-TAUPO PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
THE boundaries of the Rotorua-Taupo Pest Destruction District shall be that area of land contained in the following districts:

Ngakuru Pest Destruction District Order, Gazette, 1959, p. 1036;

This order may be cited as the Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction District Order 1974.

The boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of October 1973* are hereby redefined, and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE HAWKE’S BAY PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland, Wellington and Hawke’s Bay Land Districts comprising the County of Hawke’s Bay, part of the Counties of Taupo, Rangitikei, Wairoa, Waipawa, Waipukurau and Patangata, the Cities of Napier and Hastings and the Boroughs of Havelock North and Waipawa, containing 742,031 hectares, approximately, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the summit of the Ruahine Range, in Block IX, Wakarara Survey District, Hawke’s Bay Land District, due west of the headwaters of Gold Creek and proceeding northerly generally along the summit of the Ruahine Range to Trig Station R (Te Atua Mahura) being the southernmost corner of Part Awarua 1DA, along the southern and south-western boundaries of that block and the production to the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Rangitikei River; thence up the middle of that river to its source at Trig Station C (Ngapuketura) in Block VII, Waiotaka Survey District, Wellington Land District; thence easterly along a right line to Trig Station 41 (Maungarangi), in Block VII, Ahipaepae Survey District, South Auckland Land District; thence south-easterly along a right line to the middle of the Mohaka River at its confluence with the Mangatanguru Stream in Block VII, Kaweka Survey District, Hawke’s Bay Land District; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Wharetoto No. 1 Block; thence easterly generally to and along that boundary, the eastern boundary of that block to its intersection with the southern boundary of Block IX, Tarawera Survey District, along that boundary and approximately 10 chains along the southern boundary of Block X, Tarawera Survey District, to its intersection with a tributary of the Toropapa Stream, as shown on M.L. 1404; thence north-easterly down that tributary to the south-western boundary of Tarawera 10A Block; thence north-easterly generally along the south-western and northern boundaries of Tarawera 10A Block, the abutment of Omarowa Roadway, and again along the northern boundary of Tarawera 10A Block, the north-eastern boundary of part Tarawera 8 Block, and along the western side of the Kowaro Roadway, and the western side of the old Taupo-Napier Road, to a point in line with the southern side of a roadway in Tarawera C1 Block situated in Block XI, Tarawera Survey District; thence easterly generally to and along the side of that roadway and its production to and down the middle of the Waipunga River to and down the middle of the Mohaka River to
