NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD—GOVAN
WILSON ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Rodney County Council,
under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956, has executed
a certain public work, namely the formation of Govan
Wilson Road, Whangaripo Hill, and for the purpose of
the said work the parcels of land described in the Schedule
hereto are required to be taken for road pursuant to
section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928, as amended by
the Public Works Amendment Act 1973; and notice is further
given that a plan showing the said parcels of land is deposited
at the office of the said Council, Baxter Street, Warkworth,
and may there be inspected by all persons, without fee,
during ordinary office hours. Every person directly affected
should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to
make to the taking of the said land, not being any objec-
tion to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send
such written objection within 40 days of the first publica-
tion of this notice to the Secretary, Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board, P.O. 12-244, Wellington North.
If any objection is made a public hearing will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of the time and place appointed to hear
such objection.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH
LAND WAS ACQUIRED

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and the
Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective
amendments: Notice is hereby given that the Wellington
City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-
mentioned Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities
enabling it in that behalf to change the purpose for which
the land described in the Schedule hereto was acquired
namely for the purpose of a pleasure ground to some other
purpose, namely housing purposes. And notice is hereby
further given that a plan of the said land is deposited in
the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council
in the Municipal Offices Building, 5 Mercer Street, in the
said city, and is there open for public inspection without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours and that
all persons objecting to the proposal are required to lodge
their objections in writing at the offices of the said Town
Clerk within forty (40) days from the first publication of
this notice and that notification of a date and time for the
hearing of any objections will be forwarded to each objector.
