Notice Relating to the Use of Insecticide Iodofenphos in
Slaughtering Places, Meat-Packing Houses and Canneries
(No. 734 Ag. 21308)

Pursuant to regulation 3 (2) of the Stock (Insecticides and
Oestrogens) Regulations 1961*, notice is hereby given that
the chemical specified in the Schedule hereto is approved
for use as an active ingredient in any insecticide registered
under the Animal Remedies Act 1967, subject to the condition
that the insecticide may only be used in any yard
or other premises attached to a slaughtering place, meat-
packing house, or cannery, provided that no stock is contained
in such yards or premises at the time of the application
of the insecticide.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Porirua City Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands
hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto
as reserves for recreation purposes and further, pursuant
to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserves
in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of
Porirua, in trust, for that purpose.

Resumption of Unformed Road in Block IX, Whangaroa

Pursuant to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the
Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described
in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by
the Whangaroa County Council, pursuant to the said section
191B and as from the date of this notice the land shall be
deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
