TAUPO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE is hereby given that the Taupo County Council
proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule
hereto such land to be used for straightening an existing
road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of
the land so required is deposited at the offices of the
Taupo County Council, Lake Terrace, Taupo, and is there
open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by
the taking of the said land should, if they have any objec-
tion to the taking of the land, not being an objection to
the amount or payment of compensation, make a written
objection and send it within 40 days after the first publica-
tion of this Notice to the Town and Country Planning
Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North; and that
if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a
public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood and 34.7 perches,
or thereabouts, being part of the land known as Rangatira

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCK XIV,
WAIPAKURA SURVEY DISTRICT FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given by the Waitotara County Council
that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works
Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule
hereto such land to be used for widening an existing road;
and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing
the said land is on view and open for inspection at the
office of the Council, Waitotara County Council Chambers,
Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, during ordinary business hours;
and that every person affected by the taking of the said
land should set forth in writing any objection he may
wish to make, not being an objection to the amount or
payment of compensation and send the written objection
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to
the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box
12-244, Wellington North; and that if any objection is made
in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the
objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires,
and each objector will be advised of the time and place
of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC
WORKS ACT 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua, a body corporate
duly constituted under the Counties Act 1956, and the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Otaki, a body
corporate duly constituted under the Municipal Corporations
Act 1954, propose under the provisions of the Public Works
Act 1928, and all other Acts, powers, and authorities en-
able them in that behalf to take the lands described in the
Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work, namely,
a public road or street. Notice is hereby given that a plan
of the lands proposed to be taken has been deposited at
the offices of the Horowhenua County Council, Bath
Street, Levin, and the offices of the Otaki Borough
Council at Main Street, Otaki, and is numbered Survey
Office Plan No. 27870 being at each such office open for
inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours. Any
person affected by such taking is hereby required to state
if he has any objection thereto and to set forth in writing
such objection which he may wish to make, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and
to send such written objection within 40 days from the
first publication of this notice either to the County Clerk
at the Horowhenua County Council Chambers, Bath Street,
Levin, or to the Town Clerk, Otaki Borough Council
Chambers, Main Street, Otaki. Notice is hereby further given
that if any objection is made as aforesaid in accordance
with the provisions of section 22(1)(d) of the Public Works
Act 1928, a public hearing of the objection will be held,
unless the objector requires otherwise, and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of that hearing.

The three foregoing parcels of land are located immediately
to the west of the junction of Old Coach Road and Rangiuru
Road and form part of the road presently known as Rangiuru
Road running in a westerly direction from that junction.
