Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that affect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Hawea Motors Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Cromwell, under and by virtue of renewable lease No. 288, register book, Volume 290, folio 144, Otago Land Registry, is hereby taken for the generation of electricity from and after the 24th day of April 1974.

Pursuant to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the Declaration dated the 13th day of November 1973, and published in Gazette, 6 December 1973, No. 115, at page 2687, declaring land taken for an institution established under the Child Welfare Act 1925, in Block XI, Puketapu Survey District, Hawke's Bay County, by omitting the Schedule and substituting the following Schedule.
