Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Relinquishments, Cancellations, Transfers, and Resignations of Officers in the New Zealand Cadet Forces

Pursuant to section 59 of the Defence Act 1971, the Minister of Defence hereby approves the following appointments, promotions, extensions, relinquishments, cancellations, transfers and resignations of officers of the New Zealand Cadet Forces:

SEA CADET CORPS

Appointments

Noel William James Mackie is appointed to a commission in the rank of Sub Lieutenant with effect from 19 November 1973.

Graeme Peter Biddle is appointed to a commission in the rank of Ensign with effect from 12 December 1973.

Peter Schofield is appointed to a commission in the rank of Ensign with effect from 12 December 1973.

Robert Keith Shaw is appointed to a commission in the rank of Sub Lieutenant with effect from 13 February 1974.

Promotions

Sub Lieutenant G. T. Taylor to be Lieutenant with effect from 12 January 1974.

Sub Lieutenant E. P. Williams to be Lieutenant with effect from 12 January 1974.

Lieutenant Anthony John Joseph London resigns his commission with effect from 31 January 1974.

Lieutenant Mervyn Henry Beswick resigns his commission with effect from 1 March 1974.

Transfer

Lieutenant Brian Francis Dunn is transferred from No. 36 ATC Squadron to TS TAUPO with effect from 23 November 1973.

Sub Lieutenant Morgan David Thomas is transferred to the Supernumerary List for a period of 2 years with effect from 11 November 1972.

Lieutenant William John Andrell is transferred to the Supernumerary List for a period of 1 year with effect from 31 January 1974.

Sub Lieutenant William Owen Crosbie is transferred to the Supernumerary List for 1 year with effect from 31 January 1974.

Lieutenant Commander Cecil Darnley Noonan is transferred to the Supernumerary List for 1 year with effect from 7 February 1974.
