(Canterbury Registry), and situate between Chaucer Street,
Macauly Street, and Milton Street in the Township of
Rolleston.

DEVONPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewer Reticulation Improvement Loan 1973
THAT for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of two hundred and thirty thousand dollars ($230,000)
authorised to be raised by the Devonport Borough Council
under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose
of improving sewer reticulation in King Edward Parade,
Clarence Street, Victoria Road, and Fleet Street by means of
replacing the existing main sewer in these streets, the said
Devonport Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal one two four cents (0.124c) in the dollar upon the
unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the
Borough of Devonport, and that the special rate shall be an
annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
shall be payable yearly on the 29th day of July, in each
and every year during the currency of the loan being a
period of not more than 30 years or until the loan is fully
paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the Devonport Borough Council
on 25 February 1974.

Land Purchase Loan 1973
THAT for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of forty-eight thousand dollars ($48,000) authorised to
be raised by the Devonport Borough Council under the
Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of
purchasing land in Lake Road, Devonport, from the Auck-
land Gas Co. Ltd., the said Devonport Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three two
cents (0.032c) in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable
value of all rateable property in the Borough of Devonport
and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring date
during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly
on the 29th day of July in each and every year during the
currency of the loan being a period of not more than
20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the Devonport Borough Council on
25 February 1974.

of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the
Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding
publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing),
subscription $12 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
$5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and
1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
