PURSUANT to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the
Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
(1) This notice may be cited as the James Cook High
School Board of Governors Notice 1974.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of
June 1974. -
The Board of Governors of James Cook High School
shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education
Board;
(b) Eight members elected by the parents of pupils attend-
ing the school;
(c) One member co-opted by the Board itself if and when
it thinks fit. -
The Manurewa High Schools Board of Governors shall
cease to control James Cook High School and the sole
control of that school shall be vested in the Board of
Governors constituted by clause 2 of this notice.

Tuakau College Board of Governors Notice 1974

June 1974. -
The Board of Governors of Tuakau College shall be
constituted as follows:

Board;
(b) Seven members elected by the parents of pupils attending
the school;
(c) One member appointed by the Tuakau Borough Council;
(d) Two members co-opted by the Board itself if and when
it thinks fit. -
The Auckland Education Board shall cease to control
Tuakau College and the sole control of that school shall be
vested in the Board of Governors constituted by clause 2 of
this notice.

Consenting to the Assignment of a Licence to Use Water
for the Purpose of Generating Electricity
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of
Electricity hereby assigns to Braemar Station Ltd., a duly
incorporated Company having its registered office at Timaru,
a licence authorising the New Zealand and Australian Land
Co. Ltd., Dunedin, to use water for the purpose of generat-
ing electricity (Gazette, 4 April 1957, p. 578), the licence
having been amended (Gazette, 12 May 1960, p. 613), and
later assigned to Michael David Studholme and Paul Joseph
Studholme, farmers, of Lake Tekapo (Gazette, 19 December
1968, p. 2413).

Licensing Lake County Council to Erect and Use Electric
Lines
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of
Electricity hereby licenses the Lake County Council of
Queenstown, subject to the following conditions, to lay,
construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described
in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
-
This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical
Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations
1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regula-
tions made in amendment of or in substitution for any of
those regulations. -
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph
(a) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations
1967, and shall be an alternating current system. -
This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined,
continue in force until the 31st day of March 1994.
SCHEDULE
ELECTRIC lines commencing from the licenseeβs control build-
ing at the intersection of Dungannon Street and Dungarvon
Street, Wanaka Township and proceeding in a north-westerly
direction across Dungarvon Street to the sewage pumping
station.
All being situated in Block 3, Lower Wanaka Survey
District in the County of Lake as shown on the plan marked
N.Z.E.D. 888 deposited in the office of the New Zealand
Electricity Department at Wellington.

The Cambridge Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence
1967, Amendment No. 1
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of
Electricity hereby amends the Cambridge Electric Power
Board Electric Lines Licence 1967* by inserting subsequent
to the Schedule thereto the following paragraph:
SECOND SCHEDULE
A line commencing from a point in D.P. 3299, Part II,
and proceeding in a south-easterly direction for approximately
45 chains into D.P. 3299, Part III, thence dividing and
proceeding (a), in a northerly direction for approximately
10 chains; and (b), in a north-easterly direction for
approximately 20 chains.
