WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ACQUIRE LAND FOR ACCESS WAY
Notice is hereby given that the Wanganui City Council
intends to undertake a certain work, namely, an access way
and for the purpose of such work the parcel of land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken pursuant
to the Public Works Act 1928, and notice is further given
that a plan showing the land proposed to be taken is
deposited at the offices of the said council situate at Guyton
Street, Wanganui, and may there be inspected without fee
by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons
affected by the proposed work or by the taking of the
said land and who have any objection thereto (not being
an objection to the amount or payment of compensation)
must state their objection in writing and send the same to
the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal Board,
P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North, so as to reach him
not later than 40 days after the first publication of this
notice. If any objection is received the public hearing of

the same will be held unless the objector requires otherwise
and each objector will be advised of the time and place of
such hearing.

SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land situate in the land registration
district of Wellington and the City of Wanganui containing
8.5 perches, more or less, being Lot 12A on Deposited Plan
1912, and being part of the land contained in certificate of
title, Volume 126, folio 233, Wellington Registry.
The land described is an 18 ft wide strip of land between
Mason Terrace and Heads Road, Wanganui.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council
proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the con-
struction of a public road for which purpose the land
described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by
the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid
lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council
in Carlton Street, Te Awamutu. Every person directly affected
is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection
he may wish to make to the execution of such work or
to the taking of such land not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation and to send such written
objection to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board,
P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North, within 40 days from the
first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the
objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires,
and each objector will be advised of the time and place
of the hearing.
