Special Conditions

  1. Persons holding valid game shooting licences for the Westland Acclimatisation District may, without taking out a further game licence, shoot in that portion of the Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District included in the Westland Land District. The conditions prescribed in this notification in respect of the Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District shall apply in this area.

  2. No person shall, on the waters of Lake Mahinapua, for the purpose of hunting or killing game, use any fixed stand, pontoon, hide, maimai, or loo, except within 45 metres from the margin of the lake waters.

Declaring Land Set Apart for a Government Work (Railway Purposes) at Rimu and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 28th day of February 1974.

The Wairoa Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1965, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Wairoa Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1965* by revoking clause 5 thereof and substituting the following:

“5. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (j) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967. The system of supply authorised under paragraph (j) aforesaid shall be a single-conductor earth-return system of either 6,350 volts or 11,000 volts between conductor and earth, and the use thereof shall be subject to such terms and conditions as are from time to time laid down by the General Manager of the New Zealand Electricity Department.”

Licensing Taupo County Council to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp at Maraetai Bay, Four Mile Bay, Motutere, Acacia Bay, and Booth's Sub-division, Lake Taupo

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit the Taupo County Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Taupo as shown on plan marked M.D. 14410 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon 5 boat ramps as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 1 year from the 1st day of March 1974.

(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Licensing the Auckland Hospital Board to Occupy a Site for a Jetty and Intake Pipe at Lake Pupuke

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit the Auckland Hospital Board (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Pupuke as shown on plan marked M.D. 14512 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty and intake pipe as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of March 1974.
