Approval of Motor-cycle Safety Helmets in Terms of Traffic Regulations 1956
PURSUANT to clause (2) of regulation 29 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves, for the purpose of the said regulations, of the motor-cycle safety helmets of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
SAFETY helmets manufactured by Stadium Ltd., England, and marked "Project 6" and bearing the certification mark of the British Standards Institution and the licence number 1540.

Approval of Revolving Amber Lights on Certain Vehicles for the Auckland Harbour Board
PURSUANT to regulation 39 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves the fitting of one revolving amber light on any straddle carrier owned or operated by the Auckland Harbour Board subject to the following conditions:

The light shall be fitted to the top of the drivers cab.

The light shall only be used while the vehicle is operating in the immediate vicinity of the Auckland Container Terminal.

Notice of Approval of By-Laws
PURSUANT to section 165 (9) of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby approve Amendment No. 1 to the Rodney County Council and the Warkworth Town Council Joint By-law No. 1* as adopted by the Rodney County Council and the Warkworth Town Council at regular meetings of the two Councils held on the 18th day of October 1973 and the 23rd day of October 1973 respectively.

Licensing Dargaville Borough Council to Occupy a Site for Piles in Northern Wairoa River
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license
and permit the Dargaville Borough Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Northern Wairoa River at Dargaville as shown on plan marked MD 10260 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon piles as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the first day of June 1972.
(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten cents (10c) payable on demand.
(4) A scotchlite beacon shall be erected on the outermost pile.
