PROVISION FOR SPECIAL PRICES WHERE EXTRAORDINARY CHARGES INCURRED

  1. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing provisions of this order and subject to such conditions, if any, as it thinks fit, the Tribunal, on application by any retailer, may authorise special maximum prices for any cornsacks to which this order applies where special circumstances exist or, for any reason, extraordinary charges (freight or otherwise) are incurred by the retailer. Any authority given by the Tribunal under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or consignment of cornsacks, or may relate generally to all cornsacks to which this order applies sold by the retailer while the approval remains in force.

Appointment of Chairman and Directors of the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zealand

PURSUANT to the Tourist Hotel Corporation Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Stanley B. Blackburn, of Wanganui;
Eric C. Colbeck, of Wellington;
C. W. Mace, of Christchurch;
Margaret Nolan, of Wellington; and
Julian Satterthwaite, of Auckland

to be directors of the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zealand; and the said Stanley B. Blackburn to be the Chairman of the Corporation.
