REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

NOTICE is given that by order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand made on Friday the 22nd day of November 1974, the special resolution of the meeting of New Zealand Woolpack and Textiles Ltd. held on the 15th day of October 1974 was confirmed and the Supreme Court further directed:

That the following minute showing the amount of capital of the company be approved: That the capital of New Zealand Woolpack and Textiles Ltd. is $100,002.60, divided into 100,013 "A" shares of twenty cents ($0.20) each and 400,000 "B" shares of twenty cents ($0.20) each, having been reduced from $500,013, divided into 100,013 "A" shares of one dollar ($1.00) each and 400,000 "B" shares of one dollar ($1.00) each, fully paid.

That notice of the registration of the order so to be made and the said minute be published once in the New Zealand Gazette.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1908, Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work namely for the purposes of a pleasure ground in the City of Wellington, and for the purpose of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land which is required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Office Building, Mercer Street, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to amount or payment of compensation, send his written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, 32 Mulgrave Street, Wellington. And notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made as aforesaid a public hearing of that objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of that hearing and at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land at the top of Semeloff Terrace, Wellington, containing 27.8 perches, more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part of Town Section 2, and being also Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 2322, and being all of the land in certificate of title 420/183 (Wellington Registry).
