Declaring Stopped Government Road to be Crown Land in Block XIII, Maungaharuru Survey District, Hawke's Bay County

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 12th day of December 1974.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as service lane the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Kawerau.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Dannevirke, and also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, be incorporated in Crown lease No. L.P. 422, recorded in register book, Volume 98, folio 60, Hawke's Bay Land Registry, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Francis George Brian Lys, of Dannevirke, farmer, subject to mortgage 217966, Hawke's Bay Land Registry.
