IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER
of BANKS PENINSULA LIQUOR SERVICES LIMITED a duly
incorporated company having its registered office at 254
Oxford Terrace, Christchurch—Debtor
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the abovenamed company by the Supreme Court was, on
the 24th day of October 1974, presented to the said Court by
J. RATTRAY & SON LIMITED a duly incorporated company
having its registered office at Dunedin and carrying on
business at Dunedin and elsewhere in New Zealand as general
merchants. And that the said petition is directed to be heard
before the Court sitting at Christchurch on the 22nd day of
November 1974, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any
creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to
support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition
may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his
counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be
furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory
of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the
regulated charge for the same.

firm, and an address for service within three miles of the
office of the Supreme Court at Christchurch and must be
signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if
any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post
in sufficient time to reach the abovenamed petitioner's address
for service no later than 4 o'clock in the afternoon of the
21st day of November 1974.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCK VI, WESTMERE
SURVEY DISTRICT FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
visions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the
land described in the Schedule hereto such land to be used
for widening an existing road: and notice is hereby further
given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the office of the Waitotara County Council, 357
Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, and is there open for inspection;
that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the
said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment
of compensation, make a written objection and send it within
40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the
Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington;
and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this
notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objection otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND TO STOP
ROADS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council
intends, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956, to
execute a certain work, namely a road, and for the purpose
of such work the land described in the First Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, pursuant to the Public Works Act
1928; and notice is further given that the said Council
proposes under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956 (as
amended by Part I of the Counties Amendment Act 1972),
to stop the portions of road described in the Second Schedule
hereto; and notice is further given that a plan showing the
said land and the portions of road proposed to be stopped
is deposited at the office of the council, situated on the Main
Highway, Kawakawa, and may there be inspected without fee
by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the said work or by the taking of
the said land or the closing of portions of road and who have
an objection thereto, not being an objection as to the amount
or payment of compensation, must state their objections in
writing and send the same to the Secretary, Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North,
so as to reach him not later than 18 December 1974, being
40 days after the first publication of this notice. If any
objection is received a public hearing of the same will be
held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954, the Urban Renewal and Housing
Improvement Act 1945 and their respective amendments,
notice is hereby given that the Wellington
City Council proposes under the provisions of the
abovenamed Acts and all other Acts, powers and authorities
enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work,
namely for the purpose of Part II of the Urban Renewal
and Housing Improvement Act 1945 in the City of Welling-
ton, and for the purpose of that public work the land
described in the Schedules hereto is required to be taken and
notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land which
is required to be taken is deposited in the public office
of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal
Office Building, 5 Mercer Street, and is there open for inspection,
without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours
and that any person affected by the execution of the said
public work or the taking of the said land should if he has any
objection to the execution of the said public work or to the
