PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart, subject as to the part Lot 1, coloured yellow and the part Lot 7, coloured blue on D.P. 21663, to the rights to drain storm water, surface water, and sewage appurtenant to Lot 2, D.P. 21663, created by Transfer 539167 (Subject to section 351E, Municipal Corporations Act 1954), Wellington Land Registry, for State housing purposes from and after the 24th day of October 1974.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XII, Puketapu Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County, for Better Utilisation

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for better utilisation the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be subsequently declared Crown land and used in the formation of an esplanade reserve; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Bay View and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
